Is there any particular reason why the model has the cathode marked with a dot? I thought that, for tantalum polarised capacitors, the dot should mark the anode.

Hello Ioannis,
On Eagle, you can see the polarization mark as a dot near the first pad in layer 21(tPlace) and 51(tDocu). That pad is connected to the Anode pin in the Symbol. I hope this helps to clarify it.
Thanks,
Victor

Hello there!
Thanks for reporting this. Upon investigation, we've found out that the footprint for the part "TAJA106K016RNJ" has no polarity mark. However, you are right regarding the polarization mark in the footprint as it is Tantalum Capacitors. We'll add the polarization mark and update the footprint to our latest standards.

You're welcome - I downloaded the part, but I don't see the polarization mark in Eagle, what am I missing?
