Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Minh, and I am writing to inquire about a problem I encountered with the RST key of the ESP32 S3 footprint on SnapEDA.
As an enthusiastic user of the ESP32 S3 module, I have been utilizing SnapEDA as a valuable resource for electronic component footprints. However, recently, while working on a project that involves the ESP32 S3 devkit module, I noticed an issue with the RST key footprint provided by SnapEDA.
Specifically, the RST key footprint seems to have some irregularities or inaccuracies that are causing difficulties during the design and prototyping phases of my project. I have cross-checked the dimensions and layout of the footprint with the official ESP32 S3 documentation, and it appears that the SnapEDA footprint does not align correctly with the specifications provided.
I highly value the functionality and accuracy of component footprints, as they play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration into my electronic designs. Therefore, I wanted to bring this matter to your attention in the hope that it can be addressed and rectified.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue. It would be greatly appreciated if you could review and update the RST key footprint for the ESP32 S3 module on SnapEDA to ensure its compatibility and accuracy with the official specifications. This will not only benefit me but also the wider community of designers and engineers who rely on reliable component footprints for their projects.
If there is any additional information or documentation that you may require to assist in resolving this matter, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am eager to contribute to the improvement of the ESP32 S3 footprint on SnapEDA and would be more than willing to provide any further details or feedback as necessary.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon and working together to ensure the highest quality and reliability of the ESP32 S3 footprint on SnapEDA.
Yours sincerely,

Hello there,
This is Carlos stepping in for Ron, thanks for reaching us. Our team has reviewed the footprint outline for ESP32-S3-DEVKITC-1-N8R2 and it matches with the MF’s values on DXF and PCB layout document, so the part is correct.
The footprint outline is taken from the DXF manufacturer drawings available at this site: https://dl.espressif.com/dl/DXF_ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1_V1_20210312CB.dxf All PTH dimensions were taken from previous Devkits that use the same headers.
Can you confirm the part where you saw these issues? Please let us know to further help you with this.
